Alfresco Grilled Toast

4 Francisco French or Sourdough Sandwich Rolls, halved

1/3 cup olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano (or 1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves, chopped)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/3 cup grated Asiago cheese

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place Francisco French or Sourdough Sandwich Rolls, cut-side-up on a baking sheet. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Brush mixture evenly over the top surface of bread. Sprinkle with Asiago cheese. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until toasted. Serve with a pasta main dish, grilled meats, salads, or for dipping in a delicious sauce!
